||this has never been an issue of mine. i was just not a pure type of person. in fact, just years ago i went out of my way to test just how impure i could be, in every sense of the word. i guess that i just had a completely different mindset. it was something that just was a game to me... do the bad things.. and then see what else i could do... one thing after another.
things have changed.
in about 10 hours from now, our church is going to start a new series on purity. i'm actually really excited to go to church tomorrow, as i have been thinking about tomorrow's sermon all week. you see, god has recently called our leadership to purity, and now we are going to hear about that calling beginning tomorrow. strange.. this is a weird feeling.. being so excited to go to church that i became the highlight of the week.
purity. complete purity. is impossible. yet it's not about the destination, which in this case is unreachable.. but it's the journey towards that which makes life worth living. wow... where do i get this stuff. i'm wondering exactly how good church will be... for the leaders, for the members, for visitors... i guess i'll be writing back here very soon.
anyways, i posted a direct link to my testimony of how i came to know Jesus, in case you haven't already read it... it was the first (and only) time i was ever invited to church to share it... i flew from Hong Kong to the States to share that... so i kept the notes and decided to post it. if you're bored and haven't heard it.. then there you go.
180 was awesome today, and more people came to know Christ.... i'm sad about a couple of things.. but more on that later. let's just say that we were holding a kickass christian event in a bar where we were pretty full with people drinking and hanging out... my word... i must say that it is just amazing serving the Lord.
so yeah... it's late. niteynite friends.
